Privacy policy

The short version

Archetype does not collect any data. There is no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your workouts, measurements and settings are stored on your phone and nowhere else.

The app

• Everything you enter is saved in a database on your phone. I never see it.
• The app does not connect to the internet. It works the same in airplane mode.
• There is no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking code in the app.
• Your phone creates the rest timer alerts itself. Nothing goes to a server.

When data leaves your phone

Only when you choose to send it:

• Export data creates a backup file. You decide where to save or share it.
• Coach report turns your training into text. You copy it, share it, or let the app keep it up to date in a folder you pick, for example Google Drive.

What happens after that depends on where you send it. That service's own privacy policy applies.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored. If you saved exports or reports somewhere else, delete those files yourself.

Google Play

Google Play handles downloads and updates and has its own privacy policy. Google may show me anonymous totals, like the number of installs. I cannot see who you are.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. The only outside script is Cloudflare's bot check on the iPhone waitlist form. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The iPhone waitlist

If you join the iPhone waitlist, I store your email address and the date you joined. Nothing else. I use it once, to tell you if the iPhone app comes out, and then I delete the list. I never share it or use it for anything else. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are not a bot; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. To be removed sooner, email support@archetypefitness.app.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, so it collects nothing from children either.

Changes

If anything here changes, I will update this page before the app changes. The date at the top shows when.
